Markus Loy is the founder and Managing Director of Loy & Co. Before establishing his own firm, he was CEO of an international M&A advisory house and a Partner in the M&A division of a private bank. Earlier in his career, he laid the groundwork as an Investment Manager for industrial holdings at WestLB and as Head of Corporate Development at RWE Umwelt AG.
He graduated in economics (Diplom-Ökonom) from Witten/Herdecke University and went on to earn an MSc at the London School of Economics.
Beyond Loy & Co, Markus sits on the advisory board of a medium-sized media company, serves as a Senior Advisor to Taskforce Management on Demand and chairs the Board of Trustees of the Witten/Herdecke University Foundation.
