Loy & Co is an independent, owner-managed M&A and corporate finance consultancy specialising in buy-side and sell-side transactions within the German SME sector, as well as selected financing mandates.
As Vice President, you combine analytical depth with a structured approach. Working closely with senior management, you take full ownership of translating market intelligence into concrete transactions.
In a boutique structure, this means: short lines of communication, high visibility and an environment in which your work has a direct impact on the pipeline and deal processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Full ownership of mid-market M&A projects, including internal and external process management and communication with clients, prospective investors, and advisors
- Responsibility for the preparation of transaction documents such as long/short lists, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Managing project organization (due diligence, data room management, workshops, etc.) and supporting contract negotiations
- Leading and developing the team as well as contributing to organizational development, including AI-assisted processes and tools
- Contributing to deal origination by leading the creation of pitch and sector presentations and building your own M&A network
Your Profile
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, corporate M&A, corporate strategy, or a comparably analytical environment
- Proven track record of executing multiple successfully closed M&A transactions
- Strong skills in market, competitive, and business model analysis, paired with structured, hypothesis-driven working methods
- Ability to get up to speed quickly in new industries and distill clear, actionable recommendations from complex information
- Confident use of Excel (structured KPI analyses, scenario modelling) and PowerPoint (clear, audience-appropriate storylines)
- High level of self-motivation, reliability, and a genuine sense of ownership for results
- Excellent German and English, combined with precise, dependable communication
